Choose the Tajikistan e-Visa type
There are two basic types of Tajikistan e-Visa to choose from:
- single-entry: you can enter the country only one time (69 EUR)
- multiple-entry: you can enter the country more than once (99 EUR)

Whatever e-visa you select, you can use it for 3 months from the day it was issued.
Transit information
Obtaining a transit visa to Tajikistan isn’t necessary provided that you won’t leave the transit zone. If you wish to explore a piece of Tajik land, don’t forget to obtain an electronic tourist visa!

How long can travelers stay in Tajikistan with an e-Visa?
Holders of all electronic visa types to Tajikistan can stay in the country maximally for 2 months (60 days) as long as the e-visa is still valid. Moreover, the passport linked to the e-visa cannot expire throughout your whole stay in Tajikistan.
Please remember that electronic visa is a permit for leisure, business or transit trips. Any other purpose of your travel may require an embassy visa.
Can you extend your electronic Tajikistan visa?
No, you cannot. Electronic visa for Tajikistan cannot be extended. What’s more, if you overstay your visa, you may be fined. Don’t risk and submit a new e-visa request once you return to your country – you cannot apply for electronic Tajikistan visa being on the territory of Tajikistan.
What documents are necessary for the Tajikistan e-Visa application?
To make an online application for the Tajikistan electronic visa, you don’t need anything more than your valid passport. You should check if its validity is minimum half a year from your arrival to Tajikistan.
Important note: for business trip you may be also required to submit an invitation letter issued by hosting company in Tajikistan!

What to do after receiving the Tajikistan e-Visa?
The moment you receive the approved Tajikistan e-visa in a PDF file, download it and print it out. You will need to present it upon your arrival in Tajikistan. Don’t forget to take on the plane your printed e-visa version and your valid passport. Keep it with you throughout the whole trip!
